Misunderstandings
It's amazing how real feelings are in Second Life. When I log in, I automatically become Sage. I am not just looking at a computer screen and seeing a little brunette girl running around. I am sucked in; Sage's feelings become mine and vice-versa. I care about people, and I know people care about me. And, it's easy to become affected by other avatars. I had a run in with a couple of kids. I accidently did something that I didn't know would happen. One of them yelled at me, and in response, I got rude and ended up making a snide remark and leaving angry. Thankfully one of them sent me an IM asking why I was so rude, and I presented my defense. I IMed the girl I offended and appologized for being rude, and becoming cat-like and getting all fluffy. She appologized and explained that they thought I did it on purpose. The one who initially IMed me offered me friendship, and I offered friendship to the other. ^.^ I am very thankful that she IMed me, and we got it all taken care of. It's funny how a misunderstanding can result in friendship.
