Off to Crystal Sands
This Saturday, October 18th we are doing the show from Crystal Sands, an adult live music venue popular with many SL Performers. Most of you know the Milk N Kookies hosts are all big live music fans but the reason for this broadcast location is a bit more complex than that reason alone.
As part of our long term plan, we want to introduce our show to a broader audience, I personally ( Koffee) believe it is imperative for kid avatars to become part of the mainstream in Second Life and not be restricted to dedicated childlike sims. I have been a big advocate of getting kid avatars to join the Mentor program and welcome new residents as Orientation Island. Seeing kids as helpful, productive members of Second Life may heal some of the damage done by Sky News and other journalists who portrayed Kid avatars in their worst moments. So I hope all of you come out to the show tomorrow and show those adults the one thing we've always known ... KIDS ARE UNITED!!!!
